ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

2 Passenger minimum. Private flight. No Photographic experience required.

You’ll be strapped securely into a helicopter—with your door removed — a unique opportunity to have unobstructed views of incredible Cape Town to photograph. Open Door so no reflections for great photos.

Two passengers are positioned at the front & back left-hand side of the helicopter for best views of Cape Town. If there are three passengers, the third passenger will be seated in the middle rear seat, next to the passenger at the open door.

Low-level and high altitude flying to obtain a varied overview of Cape Town.

We fly the route, not the time which is an estimate.

An Open Door Helicopter Safety Guide joins all flights, discusses key locations & assists you with your gear. Safety Guides are aerial photographers or helicopter search & rescue personnel, with extensive experience managing the risks of flying with open doors & flying/landing in the mountains.

During the flight, no legs, arms, or heads are allowed outside the helicopter, and no loose articles, caps, sunglasses, or loose-fitting shoes can be worn.

If the weather doesn’t allow the flight, the experience will be rescheduled for an alternative day.
